Cyber Threats in the “Post Corona” Era

Tomorrow I’m doing a live one-hour broadcast with questions from the audience interspersed with questions from the host, EXP Technical’s Kelly Paletta.  The webinar is advertised as a look at risk and emerging cyber threats.  I’m anxious to see how the questions align with some of the ASA areas for investigation in the future:

  • Working harder to create a world view around public health, climate change, gun control, immigration, and education.

  • The need for greater collaboration between government agencies like CISA and FEMA and the private sector.

  • The level of confidence we can have in the custodians of our data.

  • The role of emerging, largely unregulated technologies.

  • The emergence of codes of conduct rather than regulations around powerful platforms.

  • A review of standard incident and emergency management protocols on disasters, to envision what needs to evolve.

I’ll also be happy to take questions on other areas where I have experience, like operating a $3 million small business for 15 or so years, with all the headaches and challenges as the CEO; or identifying and creating programs to manage enterprise risk like I did as a senior executive at Washington Mutual.  I hope we can have a real conversation around challenges being faced right now by small and medium sized businesses.
