The National Academy of Science has released its final report on a three-part project that provides a guide --Managing Risk Across the Enterprise-- and an implementation path for state departments of transportation to develop an enterprise risk management program. Annie Searle has been a member of the special project oversight panel since 2014, which includes the publication of the guide and related tools; the implementation of pilot activities; and a final report, NCHRP Research Report 986, which documents implementation activities of three state departments of transportation, including Washington State. The reports are all now available from the Transportation Research Board at the academy.”
