Week 11 -- The end is in sight

In this, the last week of classes, the students present executive summaries of the long papers they have written. Here's a selected list of topics they covered on Monday evening: Tether as Stable Coin; Theranos House of Cards; Ransomware Risk (x3); Deep Fake Risk; U.S. Farming Risk; Conservatorship in the U.S; Amazon and Facial Recognition; Chinese Cyber in the U.S.; Security and CryptoCurrency Platforms; and The Facebook Whistler. Impressive.

Last night we closed out the quarter. Topics included: The Threat of VPN; National Security Agency (NSA) Control Risks; Ethical Dilemmas Around Machine Learning & AI; Zoombombing; The Recommendation Algorithm on YouTube; Uber Data Breach; The U.S. Foster Care System; Ford & the Global Chip Crisis; Ethereum Stock Risks; Deep Fake Risks; Mitigating Security Risks in the 21st Century; Emergence of Fake News & Misinformation;; Accellion Data Breach and the Evolving Nature of Third Party Cyber Risk; Marriott Data Breach; and Analyzing the Risk of Adopting 5G Technology.

Three top topics for all presentations were Ransomware (x3), Theranos (x3), and the Facebook Whistleblower (x3). I want to thank all my students for the time and effort they put in a tough quarter. They have truly learned how to be students on campus again.
